Over the course of three hours, four performers welcome groups of four randomly selected participants to join in the rituals of Too Day, the only holiday celebrated solely among strangers. The performers recite from The Book of Too Day and lead rituals celebrating how little participants know one another.

Originating from an interest in both the absurdity and profundity of religious ritual, Too Day asks participants to choose an alter ego, switch egos with their stranger partner, whisper secrets into pears, share encounters that are not their own, and eat secrets they will never know.

Non-participant viewers can observe from outside the installation, but the performers encourage the audience to participate before watching.
